Parque das Naçoes - Park Expo98

This park was built expressly to the world event EXPO98.
It was converted afterwards in a touristic and leisure area.
It was a non explored, not very nice and smelly area in the
oriental part of Lisbon, next to the city’s airport and it is
now, what we could call a posh zone. The Oceanarium and
Atlantic Arena are part of the new constructions on site. Cool
place to spend a nice afternoon at day time and the pubs and night
clubs open till late for you to enjoy another night spot in the city…

Was built to give the lovers of radical sports mostly bikers and skaters a spot to enjoy their favouritesport. Its situated under the Vasco da Gama bridge

Barajas

A short passage through Barajas in Madrid.

Enough time to take a few pics.The tube took

me to a couple of places quickly. Could see

the Town’s church and a few examples of

urban art (graffiti).

Parque dos Poetas - Oeiras

The Poets Park, is a new park in Oeiras,

a Village next to Lisbon. The name of the park

is all about the Portuguese writers and

Portuguese poets.Their statues and poems are

all over the place, there’s a play park for children

as well and a football pitch from thelocal

football team. A nice place to go with the

children and spend a nice time with them,

there is also place to do a pic-nic....

Fab. Polvora "Powder Factory" - Barcarena

These pics are from a old powder factory in

Barcarena/Oeiras – Portugal.This factory

was a few decades ago, one of the largest

powder factories in Portugal. Recently

refurbished and opened to the public as

a mix of culture and amusement space.

Place to enjoy a walk, to relax, to play with

the kids, there is a nice play park for them

as well, or just to learn about

the factory's old times
