Parque dos Poetas - Oeiras

The Poets Park, is a new park in Oeiras,

a Village next to Lisbon. The name of the park

is all about the Portuguese writers and

Portuguese poets.Their statues and poems are

all over the place, there’s a play park for children

as well and a football pitch from thelocal

football team. A nice place to go with the

children and spend a nice time with them,

there is also place to do a pic-nic....

Fab. Polvora "Powder Factory" - Barcarena

These pics are from a old powder factory in

Barcarena/Oeiras – Portugal.This factory

was a few decades ago, one of the largest

powder factories in Portugal. Recently

refurbished and opened to the public as

a mix of culture and amusement space.

Place to enjoy a walk, to relax, to play with

the kids, there is a nice play park for them

as well, or just to learn about

the factory's old times

Tamariz - Estoril

Tamariz beach is located in Estoril a posh

village in the Estoril coast. We can find

several beaches along this Estoril coast and

one of the largest casinos in Europe as well.

Santuario Fatima

Fátima is a small city in the center of Portugal.

That was the place where the Holy/Our Lady

appearde to 3 children a few decades ago….

It is now 1 of the must-visit places for the

Christian pilgrims. Its a place of adoration,

reflection and praying.

This chapel was built in the place where

Our Lady appeared.

The Old Cathedral... This Cathedral was getting

smaller and smaller to the number of pelegrins

that is coming to Fatima during the year

specially in the 13th May. It was It was build a

new and bigger cathedral recently
in Fatima's Sanctuary.

Tenho tido o previlegio de conhecer e conviver coom muita gente, empregos ou "vizinhos" dos locais onde tenho vivido, e nesta aventura inglesa teem sido alguns.
